[13:23] MarcelEdward Edman: I think a lot of 4-freedom members would like to design a logo
[13:23] MarcelEdward Edman: there should be written a little text about inviting people to the contest, and send out in a notecard and on the wiki
[13:24] Trade Flow: wellI am prepared to give myself a prize L$500 for winner L$250 for 2nd and L$100 for 3rd best logo designs

[13:31] Wolfear Clawtooth: do you need a lot of custom scripts?..if you are going to be using mostly stock functions, why not use something easy?

[13:39] user123 Handrick: this is of topic but fabchannel has a good implementation for streaming video but i don't know which format of streaming it uses
[13:40] Trade Flow: it depends if you want it shown in the SL client or as an external window
[13:40] Wolfear Clawtooth: how much bandwidth are you figuring your website will need?
[13:40] Trade Flow: I can push 100M unmetered I think

[13:52] MarcelEdward Edman: install all the gstreamer plugins, the good, the badly and the ugly

[13:56] MarcelEdward Edman: PROBLEM 6:- In-world movie playback doesn't work for me. SOLUTION:- You need to have a working installation of GStreamer 0.10; this is usually an optional package for most versions of Linux. If you have installed GStreamer 0.10 and you can play some movies but not others then you need to install a wider selection of GStreamer plugins, either from your vendor or an appropriate third party.
[13:56] Wolfear Clawtooth: this is an area I'm not familiar with, but would that interfere with some of us who have rather fragile video set ups?
